Research Area:

Infectious Disease Dynamics

Mira is a junior majoring in physics with a minor in astrophysics. Before joining Dr. Weitz’s research group in 2021, Mira was a part of another research group that studied sodium ion batteries. Mira joined Dr. Weitz’s research because she has always had an interest in virology as well and she believe researching ways to limit the spread of viruses is extremely important as we have seen with the Covid-19 virus. For her future, she has aspirations of obtaining a masters degree in astrophysics and then working for a space agency.
