Guanlin graduated with a B.S in Mathematics and Physics Minor in 2016 from Arizona State University, going on to ean his M.S. in Mathematics from Georgia Tech in 2017. He transferred into the Quantitative Biosciences program in 2017, where he joined the Weitz Group. Guanlin utilizes mathematical tools (e.g. control theory, stochastic processes, numerical analysis) to answer fundamental questions raised in the biological/physical sciences.
