Research Areas:

Viral Ecology of Marine Systems
Foundations of Quantitative Viral Ecology

Ashley Coenen received a Bachelor of Arts in physics and mathematics from Lawrence University in Wisconsin in 2015. Ashley joined the Weitz Group in 2016, and is currently a PhD student in physics at Georgia Tech, working on modeling the community dynamics of complex microbe-phage communities. Throughout the PhD, Ashley has assisted Atlanta-based organizations with data analysis and visualization on issues surrounding human and civil rights.
