Prof. Weitz to Co-Lead InQuBATE Training Program funded by $1.27 Million NIH T32 Training Grant

Prof. Weitz and Associate Professor in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering Peng Qiu recently received a five-year, $1.27 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to establish a new training program. The $1.27 million T32 training grant will create the Integrative and Quantitative Biosciences Accelerated Training Environment (InQuBATE) Predoctoral Training Program at Georgia Tech, designed to train a new generation of scientists to understand the dynamics, structure, and function of integrative, living systems given uncertainty.
